Additionally, Mwingi serves thousands of independent retailers en route to the franchise shops with doorstep delivery of selected FMCG products.
Franchise Business
Mwingi is a franchise trading business, built on a simple and robust profit sharing model. Each franchisee operates her own shop which Mwingi sufficiently stocks with fast moving consumer goods that are most needed in the targeted rural areas.
The Mwingi franchisee gets detailed sales reports on a daily basis and knows exactly how much revenues he or she made on this day. After deduction of costs, Mwingi and the franchisee share the remaining profit, all of which is completely transparent for the franchisee. Mwingi upgrades the franchise shops with solar energy, lighting, shelving, branding, and security. Mwingi also manages all processes for the franchisees like purchasing and transportation of goods and also provides the franchisees with a state-of-the-art POS system to manage the sales process efficiently.
